HOME OF THE  FASTEST 4 CYLINDER AUDI QUATTRO DRAG CAR IN THE WORLD.  BUILT BY ME, IN MY GARAGE, AT MY HOME.

I am a simple man with the desire to drive fast.  And I need to keep my legal right to drive.  So in my spare time, I like to build race cars for personal use only.

I have much interest in the VW/Audi powerplant, and mainly the 20v 4 cyl engine in particular.

This is where I left the 2013 season, running best time of 9.41, best 60′ of 1.450, and best trap speed of 167.31.  Taking it easy as I broke a lot of drivetrain stuff this season so I was scared to launch especially with the triple disc clutch setup. In 2012 the bests were 9.34 @ 153 with a 1.400 60′. Another team, Corrupted Racing out of Estonia, went quicker than I did with a 9.25 @ 161 run. And USP Motorsports/Chris Green went 9.26 @ 158 this past year as well, going quicker here in the US. It took a lot of hard work, time, money and help to put this car where it is today, and we plan to go slower next season while we build a new 25.1 RWD chassis!!!

In a post las tyear you mentioned getting a remanufactured automatic for $2200. My allroad is now slipping in reverse and my understanding is that the whole enchilada needs to be replaced--and I hear some very high numbers for the cost. I'm in Seattle and need some tips. Can you help?

Dig the setup and am especially a fan of fast home built cars!
I built a Buick GN powered RX-7 (ran mid 11's near stock 1st time out) and now an LS7 powered RX-7. I'm interested in doing an LS2 powered 01E setup in my Audi Avant :)

What a nasty Audi, makes it much better that you built it in your own garage very nice. Pulls so hard. 4cly for life..

THANKS! I certainly try. The new chassis is being "built" by a real chassis shop, BUT I get to (so far anyways) be doing all of the fab work. That helps me to be able to say I still at least had a good part of the build.
